Our ImpEx Cask Evolution series explores the evolution of individual casks, each specially selected and bottled exclusively for customers in USA.
This 8 year old single cask was matured in a Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrel before being finished in a Calvados cask for 8 months prior to bottling.
Nose: Fresh citrus sweetness, tropical fruit, and light peat smoke.
Palate: Green apples, fresh vanilla, cinnamon sweetness, and floral smoke.
Finish: Waves of crisp citrus and rich earthy peat smoke.
Cask# 277/2012, 56.6 % ABV, 50 PPM, 8 Years Old, 217 bottles
